Email Improvements

Kent, our IT guru, has made adjustments to our email system so that we can access it from home. While I do not run to my computer every five minutes to check for email, I do check it daily, even on weekends. If you need to get in touch with me, send an email to staylor at hillcrestchristian dot org (You obviously need to take out the spaces and replace the word "at" with an at symbol, and replace the word "dot" with a period. I have to write it like this to avoid an influx of spam.)

Added soccer game 1/27/12

We have added a game to the HCS soccer schedule for this month. Lee Academy will come to HCS on January 27 for a 4:00 game. I know that this is the Disciple Now weekend for many HCS students, so I scheduled the game for the earliest available time for Lee Academy. We should finish our game in plenty of time for the affected players to shower and arrive at their host homes on time.

HCS Soccer at Lee Academy

Cougar soccer hits the ground running in 2012 with a 3:00 game at Lee Academy on January 2. Yes, we are missing the majority of our first day back at school. This is my Christmas gift to the team. We will get out of class at 10:00 (break for high school or the middle of 2nd period for jr. high), and I hope to leave campus by 10:15. Country Woods Baptist Church has very graciously offered its vans for our road trip, so we don't have to sort out the normal carpool details. We will stop for lunch at a Subway or something similar, probably in Yazoo City, so players will need to bring money or pack a lunch. If all goes well, we will be back in Jackson before 9, even if we stop for a quick supper.

2011-2012 Hillcrest Soccer Schedule

I have updated the schedule so that it now shows up correctly.

I am hoping to add another game or two with some local teams, but I have not been able to get anything set in stone yet. Unless you hear differently from me, this is what our schedule looks like for the upcoming season.

Please note that there is a discrepancy with the schedule that I have and what Starkville Academy has posted on their website. I am trying to get that resolved.
